Training for Skill Development

close up 7Sarajean has facilitated skill-based trainings and workshops for nonprofit NGO professionals, volunteers, and government officials for most of her professional life. Since 2002, she has focused on services for Japan-based nonprofit NGO staff members and volunteers seeking to gain strategic advantage in their work.

In 2013, Sarajean will be teaching a course on NGO Management and Japanese nonprofits at Temple University Japan (TUJ). Want to know more?  Contact TUJ directly about the workshops.

Sarajean’s has collaborated with a variety of organizations to design unique skills development programs aimed at the enhancement of performance and capacity. After assessing needs, capacity and know-how, trainings sessions are designed to match the development needs of the participant and the organization.

Foundation for Advanced Skills in International Development (FASID) NGO Diploma Program

Training program for persons pursuing careers in international organizations.

Advocacy Skills workshop for government officials, NGO staff members and volunteers. (In 2008, in English and Japanese.) This program at FASID has since been discontinued.


Japanese Foundation for AIDS Prevention

– NGO skills building seminar for nonprofits dealing with HIV/AIDS in Japan (2006 & 2008, in Japanese)
